2 Cor 5:⁷ for we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises]—

Rom 10:¹⁷ So faith comes from hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the [preaching of the] message concerning Christ.

Luke 6:⁴⁰ A student is not superior to his teacher; but everyone, after he has been completely trained, will be like his teacher. 

Prov 22:⁶  Train up a child in the way he should go [teaching him to seek God’s wisdom and will for his abilities and talents],
Even when he is old he will not depart from it.

Seeing their [active] faith [springing from confidence in Him], Jesus said to the paralytic, “Do not be afraid, son; your sins are forgiven [the penalty is paid, the guilt removed, and you are declared to be in right standing with God].

Lam 3:²¹  But this I call to mind,
Therefore I have hope.
²² It is because of the Lord’s lovingkindnesses that we are not consumed,
Because His [tender] compassions never fail.
²³ They are new every morning;
Great and beyond measure is Your faithfulness.
²⁴ “The Lord is my portion and my inheritance,” says my soul;
“Therefore I have hope in Him and wait expectantly for Him.”
²⁵ The Lord is good to those who wait [confidently] for Him,
To those who seek Him [on the authority of God’s word].
²⁶ It is good that one waits quietly
For the salvation of the Lord.

Satan has demanded permission to sift [all of] you like grain; ³² but I have prayed [especially] for you [Peter], that your faith [and confidence in Me] may not fail; and you, once you have turned back again [to Me], strengthen and support your brothers [in the faith].”
